WE, the participants of the inaugural Ukrainian Christian Movement Forum, initiated by the Council of Christian Churches of Ukraine, gathered in the City of Kyiv on this 20th day of March in the Year of our Lord 2026, hereby declare our readiness for cooperation and partnership for the sake of the salvation and spiritual revival of our nation.
WE RECOGNIZE that we live in a pivotal era, with Ukraine at the epicenter of global shifts while our people fight for life and dignity. We firmly believe that the Lord stands with those who defend themselves against aggression. In these circumstances, our responsibility grows to provide a united response to the dramatic challenges of our time.
WE RENDER GRATITUDE to God for the calling to belong to His Church. We perceive our diversity not as an obstacle, but as a gift for fulfilling the unique mission ordained by the Creator. Belonging to various Christian traditions, we stand upon the foundation of the Word of God, united by a common hope in the Kingdom of God—a Kingdom we await in its fullness, yet which is already manifest through the work of the Holy Spirit and the heroic deeds of faith, restoring every individual to the full potential given by the Creator.
WE HONOR the call to act as one Body, seeking not our own interests, but those of Jesus Christ (Phil. 2:21). We agree to join our efforts for the spiritual rebirth of Ukraine and its preservation amidst modern threats, in accordance with the strategic directions presented in the Manifesto of the Ukrainian Christian Movement.
WE WELCOME the Ukrainian Christian Movement as a dedicated space for the encounter of different dimensions of the Church: the vertical, represented by the clergy, and the horizontal, comprising initiatives, projects, and Christian organizations. Contemporary challenges demand mature partnerships capable of integrating Christian values into all spheres of life and contributing to the building of our nation and state. We strive to build our cooperation on the principles of mutual respect, brotherhood, and an awareness of the power of unity.
WE COMMIT to focusing our collective efforts on the implementation of established action plans within the following seven key areas:
• I. Family and the Protection of Life
• II. Christian Education
• III. Social and Humanitarian Activity
• IV. Chaplaincy and the Mental Health of the Nation
• V. Law, Prosperity, and Morality
• VI. Advocacy for Ukraine and the Diaspora
• VII. Creativity and the Arts
May we be inspired by the example from the Book of Nehemiah, when the various tribes of Israel united for the cause of national restoration. “May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us” (Psalm 90:17).
